Today’s video is all about drugstore dupes for popular high-end eye shadow palettes. For my beautiful’s who love to look good, but don’t want to spend all their cash on high-priced eye shadow palettes. These are dupes in color and formula, because I thought that was really important for the dupe to have both. So to make this list, you had to have an awesome quality lower priced product in order to even compete with the high end brands. Let’s get to it!
1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Renaissance Palette Vs. Nyx Ultimate Eye shadow Palette in Warm Neutrals
The ABH Renaissance Palette is absolutely on fire right now! Every makeup artist and beauty lover I know is using this palette! However, if you aren’t wanting to drop big bucks for this palette, there are alternatives for you! One palette that I love to use is the Nyx Ultimate Eye shadow Palette in Warm Neutrals. The shades between the two sets are extremely similar to each other. The shades aren’t exact though, but if you are going for a warm, neutral palette and don’t want to break the bank, I would definitely go with the Nyx Ultimate Eyeshadow Palette in Warm Neutrals. The only shade that I didn’t find in the Nyx palette that is in the ABH palette is the shade called Love Letter. The formula for Nyx is very buttery, and very pigmented. The palettes pretty much have the same exact colors minus the one, and both perform the same. They go on smooth, very buttery, very pigmented. So if you are running low on funds but want the shades and formula that Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance offers, I would definitely recommend the Nyx to you.
2. Urban Decay Naked Palette Vs. Makeup Revolution Iconic 1 Palette Vs. Covergirl Tru Naked Palettes
The Urban Decay Naked Palette is definitely a staple in any makeup lover’s collection. However, the naked palettes can definitely put a dent in your wallet at $50 bucks a pop! Ouch! Don’t fret beautiful! I got you covered. Since the palette is so loved and popular, many brands have taken inspiration from the colors and created their own versions of the iconic eye shadow palette! The first dupe is the Makeup Revolution Iconic 1 Palette. If you hold the two palettes side by side, you can see that the Makeup Revolution Eye shadow palette is almost an exact replica of the Urban Decay palette with the same color order and everything! The forumla is also the same between the two palettes. Both formulas go on smooth and buttery and are nicely pigmented. The next palette I think deserves a mention as a dupe is the Covergirl Tru Naked Palettes. The Covergirl Naked palettes come in nudes, roses and golden. You can find almost every shade that is in the Urban Decay Naked eye shadow palette in at least one of these covergirl palettes! And you can find them at any drugstore, which might not be the case with Makeup Revolution just yet.
3. Dior 001 Eye Reviver Backstage Pros Illuminating Neutrals Eye Palette Vs Catrice Essential Nude Collection Eye shadow Palette
I know a lot of people aren’t really going over the dupes for ultra high end makeup right now, so I wanted to give you guys a look at an eye shadow palette dupe I found for Dior Eye Reviver Backstage Pros Illuminating Neutrals. And that eye shadow palette would be the Catrice Cosmetics Essential Nude Eye shadow Palette. The Dior palette sells for $62 and the Caprice palette sells for $7.99. So a big difference in price point. While the shadows between the two aren’t exact, I have found they are very similar, so you can get the same look and nearly the same colors and eye shadow formula without emptying out your wallet.
4. Kylie Cosmetics Bronze Palette Vs. Morphe 350 Eye shadow Palette
I know Kylie got some slack when the Bronze Palette hit the shelves but I honestly liked the palette. However, I have found a dupe for the eyeshadow kit that I like better and I think performs a little better than the Kylie palette. And that’s the Morphe 350 Eye shadow palette. The Morphe 350 eyeshadow palette definitely has a wider range of colors available than the Kylie palette, including the exact colors on the Kylie palette. So I think your money is going to go further with the Morphe than with the Kylie. And the Morphe Eyeshadows are a lot cheaper than the Kylie eyeshadows, and you are going to be able to create more looks with them than you would be able to with the Kylie palette. Both are very buttery, and very good quality shadows. I like them both, but if I had to choose I think I would pick the Morphe 350 Eyeshadow palette. Sorry Kylie fans!
