Halo Makeup Eyeshadow Tutorial Using The Royals Palette From Bad Habit Cosmetics

Hey guys! Today this video is going to show you how to do a super pretty, super girly halo makeup effect with your eye shadow. I hope you guys learn as much as I did from this makeup tutorial. This makeup tutorial uses the Palette called Royal from Bad Habit Cosmetics. So if you want to follow along be sure to check out the colors in the eye shadow palette and make sure you have similar colors on hand.

For this tutorial, you are going to start off with your eyes. Start off with concealer on your eyes to hide dark spots and to give you a fresh surface to start with. Then use Nyx nude shadow as a powder base for your eye shadow to stick to. After you have your eyes ready just use a dusting of translucent setting powder using a face brush and you are ready to start.

The eye shadow palette in the video is from Bad Habit cosmetics and it’s the Royals palette. There’s 14 different shades and they are all really nice, smooth and pigmented. If you havn’t noticed from the video, the Royals palette that I am using and the Modern Renaissance palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills are almost dead on. The colors are very similar. However the Royals palette is a bit more affordable.

I do love the Modern Renaissance Palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills. It’s definitely one of my favorite eye shadow palettes. However when I can show you something similar, I am definitely going to show you that as well. And this palette from Bad Habit cosmetics is almost dead on. So if you are in a bind with cash, I’d definitely recommend you pick up the Royals palette. If you can afford to and love high-end makeup, I’d get the Modern Renaissance palette. But it’s definitely up to you, and I love both. So with that said let’s move on.

For the Halo eye look today I’m going to start off with the shade Prim Rose from the Royals palette. use a big fluffy eye shadow brush and start at the outer part of the eye, blending it into the crease and at the outer and inner corner of the eye.

The next shade I am going to go in with is Majestic, which is a really pretty cranberry purple color.Take a smaller crease brush and blend the color right into your crease. Also blend it onto the outer corner and the inner corner.

For the next shade we are going to take the color Queen which is pearly, and so so pretty and metallic and extremely pigmented. Use the color in the middle of your lower lid and crease to create the halo effect that we are going for.

Before applying my lashes I’m going to use Milani EyeTech Extreme Liquid Eyeliner and line my upper lash line. After I’ve finished with my eyeliner I’ve gone ahead and applied my lashes like I normally do. I’m going to finish off my eyes with Rude Obnoxious Volume Mascara in Black. It’s really good for volumizing your lashes and has a really fat wand.

As you can see in the video I follow up with just finishing my entire face with primer, foundation, concealer, contouring, highlight and powder. You can check all that in the video. My focus was on the Halo Eye shadow tutorial for this post.

I hope you guys enjoyed this video and love the Royals Eye shadow Palette from Bad Habit as much as I do. For the girls that love beauty on a budget this product is definitely for you.

Let me know what you think of this palette in the comments section. I would love to hear from you.
